I've just received a letter today from Smart Parking Ltd with a parking charge of £90 or if I pay before the 24th of September it's £50.
Is there anything I can do to appeal?
The letter states the car was there over their 90 minute parking limit, From 15.16.32 PM until 17.10.34 PM
I've read through the NEWBIES thread but it's all a bit alien to me, Would someone be kind enough to help me with the best course of action? I'd very much appreciate it, Especially if you have dealt with them before.

Send the blue text appeal found in post #1 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.
Send it as the keeper.
Send it unchanged - no additions or alterations necessary.
While waiting for a response, complain to B&M.

Smart Parking PCNs are dead easy to kill off, just by the registered keeper following the template appeal process in the NEWBIES thread.
No need for any threads asking about how to appeal to Smart Parking.
A cinch!!
It will be cancelled after about 35 days from the appeal. Use the template.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of this/any page where it says:

90 minutes as not very long in a BM, especially if you are buying packet soup, Chinese flat pack furniture, potted geraniums, and piles lotion.
Do any other retail outlets use this car park?
If the latter, £243 is more than the Law allows. Gladstones know this but they keep trying to sucker people into paying.
The most a Judge is likely to ward if he finds for the PPC is not likely to exceed £200, the rest is solicitors pire in the sky money, fraud imo.
Why not complain to their regulatory body, the SRA
http://www.sra.org.uk/home/home.page
and also to your MP
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week, hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. It has even been suggested that some of these companies have links with organised crime.
Watch the video of the Second Reading and committee stage in the House of Commons recently. MPs have a very low opinion of this industry.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by in the not too distant future..
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

No.
I haven't had anything back. I don't know if that's a good or bad sign but I haven't given up waiting for a response just yet

Did they not reply to your initial appeal? Either an acknowledgement to start with, or a subsequent letter of rejection with a POPLA Code?
Did you send your initial appeal by their deadline (usually 28 days after the parking event)?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I have had zero replies and yes I filled out the appeal straight away on their website on the 14,09,2018.
The newbies thread template letter is easy enough to do so I'm pretty sure I filled it in correctly and it submitted with no problems.
